The owner and operator, Brennen Beal, established Specialty Tree Services in 2011 which is family owned and operated.  We provide professional tree care solutions for HRM, East Hants and Colchester Counties. 

After graduating from Maritime College of Forest Technology in 2010, Brennen became a climber for a tree company in Halifax and after 1 year, decided to open his own business. Over the years, Specialty Tree Services has made great efforts to ensure we provide quality work to our customers and take great pride that much of our business comes from return customers and referrals from previous customers. 

Along with quality work, another focus we prioritize is efficiency and safety. To ensure both, we have continually upgraded the equipment we use. Currently Specialty Tree Services operates a bucket truck with a 60-foot reach along with a Platform Basket (spider lift) with a 72-foot reach that can access back yards through areas that are only 34 inches wide. Additionally, we have a 9-inch industrial chipper, a stump grinder, and a 16-foot dump trailer. 

The services that we provide are tree cutting and trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and chipping services.
